Transit Logistics for traveling with 2 kids

Transit Logistics for traveling with 2 kids

Even on half nanny days, we’ve been out for 6-12 hours nearly every day on our 3 weeks abroad so far. (We’re off to our next country and heading STRAIGHT to Disneyland with this exact set up, follow along in Instagram stories!)

Here’s what we’re using:

Husband wears 8 month old in @happybaby revolution carrier- facing in for naps, out for wake windows (pro tip- there are a lot of used ones that get sold if you join this Facebook group!)

I use @gooseket_baby sling to carry baby during meals or husband’s baby wearing breaks. Also helps when I need to carry kid.

Gb pocket all city stroller mostly for 3.5 year old but it flexes for our 8 month old or!! To carry our bags if kid is walking. Love that it folds up so tiny, under seats, airplane overhead bins, etc (see video demo here)

Extremely strong stroller hooks to carry all our bags (be careful; the GB Pockit is lightweight so weight distribution needs to be adjusted when kid gets off)

We separate baby items (bottles, changing pad and diapers) from kid items (toys, beloved Yoto Mini, snacks) for easy split up where 1 of us takes 1 kid each (and- if you’re following along on stories- you know we do this everyday; it’s often more focused and less exhausting mental load to split up the kids for a bit!)

All of us are in coordinating Pickles hats- maybe not a transit necessity, but helpful for any sunny day 🥲
